PtboCanada Review: Peterborough Theatre Guild's "Noises Off"

I had the opportunity to be part of the Open Audience performance of the hilarious play Noises Off at The Peterborough Theatre Guild earlier this week.  Directed by Brian MacDonald, this farce showcases some of our amazing local talent, such as Kelley Mazda, Justin Boyd, Ray Henderson, Rachel Bemrose, Gillian Kunza, Terry Convey, Jack Burke, Sarah Tye, and Andrew Little

Noises Off
will have you in complete stitches the full two and a half hours of the production, as you watch a play within a play. It is made up of three acts portraying the misfortunes, mix-ups and misspoken lines of a play entitled Nothing On. And indeed, you may spot a few actors now and then in only their briefs!

Running today (September 17th) through to October 2nd, there will be 12 performances in total. Check out their website for dates and times. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, and $10 for students, and are available at the theatre box office. You can also check out the events page on Facebook.  —Julie Morris, PtboCanada contributor
