City Council will consider the following items during its General Committee meeting that starts at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020:
Changing the land-use designation - the zoning bylaw - for 303 Stewart St. to allow the property to be used for a group home with up to 12 residents;
Changing the land-use designation - Official Plan and zoning by-law - for 1176 and 1182 Armour Rd. to allow the properties to be used for a high-density, multi-unit residential building with 76 units with a maximum building height of seven storeys;
An update to Council on the replacement of a roof at the Peterborough Museum and Archives curatorial building;
A recommendation to support entering into an agreement with Selwyn Township and the Peterborough Police Services Board for the provision of police services in Lakefield Ward in Selwyn Township for five years, from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2025;
An update to the 10-year Housing and Homelessness Plan for the City and County of Peterborough;
Increasing the contract for the engineering design and contract administration for the Parkhill Road West Reconstruction project by $203,725.44 including tax to $1,762,580.78 from $1,558,855.34 due to changes to the scope of work and the construction schedule;
An update on the urban forest canopy conservation public consultation including recommendations on guiding principles for the development of a new regulatory framework; and
An update and review of the transition of recycling contracted services that took place on November 1, 2019.
