Repair Cafe volunteers can provide tools and materials to help make basic repairs of household items such as clothing, shoes, toys, furniture, small electrical appliances, jewelry, etc. Each repair prolongs the life of well-loved items, saves money and the environmental cost of buying new, and keeps items out of the landfill.
We will have all regular fixing stations available (sewing/mending, electrical and wood/glue)
We can help you: - sew the button back on your favourite sweater - darn a hole in your socks - glue the handle on your favourite mug - clean the connections in your toaster - rewire your lamp or amp - and more!
