"For the '20s photo, we wanted Gillian to be a flapper and for me to be a more straight laced suitor," Morritt tells PTBOCanada. "As with all our historical photos, we place the emphasis on getting the appearance of authenticity, rather than using authentic costumes. In some photos we've used paper towel to simulate fabrics, or used random bowls for hats. You can always find something in the photos that gives away the truth. However, you can hide a lot in black and white."
The costume and props in the photos came from Talise, Vinnie's and Catalina's in Peterborough.
