Everyone is invited to be part of the Downtown Community Cigarette Butt Clean Up on Sunday August 11 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., starting from Quaker Foods City Square.
Gloves, pick-up pails and litter pickers will be provided – bring your own upcycled container as well.
People can search for cigarette butts anywhere in the downtown area.
There will be an entry draw and several prizes available for most butts collected. Registration at event will be required to be eligible.
At the end of the event - we will be launching a contest that will last for 42 days until September. How many cigarette butts can you collect until that last day of Summer?
