Canopy Cares 2nd Annual Inclusivity Walk & Carnival

On September 14th, Canopy will be hosting our 2nd Annual Inclusivity Walk & Carnival from 10-2 at Dixon Park.

Our 2km walk is open to all ages and abilities and is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the Canopy Community and raise awareness for the diverse populations and cultures we proudly support.

This year, we are delighted to have NOGO, Hanoi House and the Council for Persons with Disabilities providing interactive checkpoints along the route focusing on Inclusivity, Accessibility and Diversity.

The Carnival follows the walk and promises a day full of fun and excitement, featuring performances by Peterborough’s own Betty Baker, Sarah Cee, and the Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts. Families will enjoy a BBQ lunch provided by the Peterborough East Lions, face painting, an arts & crafts tent, lots of snack including ice cream courtesy of Central Smith, the “Zen Den” Sensory Tent provided by Autism Home Base, Family Fun Tattoo Pop-Up from Mike’s Tattoos, 50/50, raffle prizes, and so much more!

You can register at our website www.canopysupport.ca/carnival or by calling us at (705) 876-9245 ext.221.
