Balanced Nutrition Series Part One: How to Build a Balanced Meal

This month, Jo Anne’s Place Nutritionist Marissa Laughlin is joining the Trent Athletics Centre for a two part series on how to build balanced and sustainable meals to keep you energized and full.

During part one, Marissa will talk about how to balance your macronutrients for sustainable energy. This will include the following key topics: Consuming adequate levels of protein, including nutrient dense fibers, the importance of healthy fats, the need for complex carbohydrates and reducing sugar intake.
