40th Anniversary Gala
Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre is celebrating 40 years in the community!
Join us on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm for our 40th Anniversary Gala at Sadleir House. The event will feature a community art room, music and spoken word performances, special guest speakers and more!
Music and Guest Line-up Includes:
> Unity, the Peterborough-based Indigenous drumming group
> The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of the Status of Women
> Sara Fernald, one of the seven original founders of the Centre
> Mary Kate Edwards, Peterborough-based singer songwriter
> Julie Lalonde, feminist activist and educator
> Luna Li, the "garage rock princess of Toronto"
