ORIGINAL POST
We are delighted to announce a partnership between Peterborough Memorial Centre (PMC), the Peterborough Petes and PTBOCanada where we have branded two PTBOCanada entrance tunnels at PMC. The tunnels are located on the East and West side of the north concession leading from the main lobby up into the arena bowl. We encourage fans to tweet us (@Ptbo_Canada) and tag us on instagram with your selfies and group photos from the PTBOCanada tunnels at PMC events and Petes games. We will soon be creating a fun hashtag(s) on the wall.
"The PMC is excited to have the dynamic PTBOCanada digital media brand partner with us," says John Salfi, Program & Promotions Coordinator with the City of Peterborough. "We believe the PTBOCanada tunnels will drive engagement among PMC patrons of all ages. Our new motto for the PMC is 'Entertainment Lives Here', and we are working to create more interactive and fun ways for our customers to engage with us during live events. Watch for fun contest and promotions coming up in the PTBOCanada tunnels using hashtags."
Aaron Garfat, Director of Sales, Marketing and Advertising for the Peterborough Petes, adds: "The Peterborough Petes are excited to partner with PTBOCanada—an industry leading social news outlet—as well as the PMC on this unique endeavour that will allow fans to share photos from PTBOCanada entrance tunnels."
The tunnels were designed and wrapped by Unique Media Solutions. "We're delighted to produce these PTBOCanada tunnels in partnership with the PMC and the Peterborough Petes," says Unique Media Solutions co-owner John Druce, who is a former Peterborough Pete and NHL-er. "As a Peterborough Pete alumni and proud supporter of everything Peterborough, this opportunity to wrap the PTBOCanada tunnels was an excellent fit. I'm a huge fan of the PTBOCanada brand, PMC and the Petes."
