Future Shop In Peterborough Closing, Best Buy To Open In Its Place
/All Future Shops are closing across Canada, consolidating under the Best Buy brand (Future Shop's parent company). The Peterborough store has already closed, with surprised customers showing up on Saturday to the notice on the store doors.
A store spokesperson in Peterborough tells us it will re-open as a Best Buy on April 4th.
***The store will be renovated and rebranded as a Best Buy.
We do not know the status of employees at this time, and whether they retain their jobs under the Best Buy brand. Tip us.
