CHEX-TV To Broadcast CTV Programs Now Under New Arrangement With Bell Media

Corus Entertainment has announced that it has entered into a comprehensive program supply arrangement with Bell Media’s CTV, marking a new chapter for Corus’ local television channels in Eastern Ontario.

This arrangement results in Corus’ three channels—CHEX-TV in Peterborough, Channel 12 in Oshawa and CKWS-TV in Kingston—broadcasting news, sports, information and entertainment programming from Bell Media’s CTV effective August 31st.

On August 31, CHEX-TV, Channel 12 and CKWS-TV will launch new broadcast schedules featuring a slate of CTV shows, including The Amazing Race Canada and MasterChef Canada, to name a few.

With this arrangement, CTV’s one-hour daily national news program, CTV National News with Lisa LaFlamme, will be integrated into the programming lineup along with the current local daily Newswatch newscasts.

I think not.

So here is what we all need to do

2. Make sure your neighbours and relatives VOTE

3. You facebook twitter guys TURN UP THE VOLUME and make sure everyone VOTE

Each of you be responsible for seeing that 5 more people get out and Vote so let see that is now 1200 people and they are each responsible for 5 each so now it is 7400. We're big fans of CHEX Newswatch weather anchor Jay Scotland, who makes local forecasts fun and educational. Jay is entertaining, self-deprecating and informative all at once, and he's obviously passionate about his work. And crafty. On his TheWeatherNerd's channel on YouTube, his latest video (see below) teaches us about downbursts using flour, water and toothpicks.
