Following inspections, Peterborough baseball diamonds remain closed due to extremely wet conditions caused by Wednesday’s rainfall until at least Friday according to the City.

Recreation and Parks Services crews cannot complete infield maintenance until the fields have dried. The City is asking all sports and recreational users to stay off diamonds until further notice.

The City of Peterborough apologizes for any inconvenience.

Natural and artificial turf fields are open, but users are advised that use during current wet conditions may cause damage that requires repairs.
