Due to Tuesday’s heavy rainfall, the City of Peterborough is asking everyone to stay off its baseball diamonds to avoid damage until Wednesday evening.

Use of natural and artificial turf fields will be at the discretion of user groups. The City advises caution to be used when playing on them.

Damaged fields and divots can create safety concerns for players. If repairs are required following the storm, the reopening of diamonds or fields may be delayed as the City could deliver further notice.
