Cavan-Monaghan Man Facing Assault Charges After Allegedly Striking His Spouse In the Face
/A 48-year-old Cavan-Monaghan man is facing assault charges after allegedly striking his spouse’s face during an incident on Wednesday afternoon.
At roughly 1 p.m., officers arrived at a residence where an incident between a man and women were taking place. Upon arrival, both parties claimed nothing that had happened. The officers were called back shortly after by the woman who claimed that she had been struck in the face by the man. Officers learned of a previous incident between the two last week.
