A Trent University Grad Won The Tim Hortons Duelling Donuts Contest

Jennifer Brown, who just graduated from Trent University with a biochemistry major, has won the Tim Hortons Duelling Donuts Contest. Her idea—creme brulee-filled doughnut topped with peanut butter cups—topped 76,500 submissions for the $10,000 grand prize.

 

Brown battled it out with three other finalists in an online vote, and will now get to see her creation sold in Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada.

The four finalists had been chosen by a panel including Jason Priestley, Ben Mulroney, Jann Arden and Anna Olson.
