Enjoy a fun tribute to the ’60s and ’70s!
The 1960s and 1970s produced an anthology of popular music which has influenced generations. The Peterborough Pop Ensemble celebrates a revival of these notorious eras with “HIP TO THE GROOVE – a 60s and 70s Tribute” on Saturday, April 28, 2018. From early rock and roll to funk, folk to disco, these two decades have made an indelible mark in music history. Featuring songs by KC and the Sunshine Band, Bread, The Carpenters, ABBA, Aretha Franklin and more, this show will make you feel like dancing!
Show time is 7:30 p.m. at the historic Market Hall Performance Centre, Peterborough, ON.
As part of the Peterborough Pop Ensemble Charity Program, the Ensemble is honoured to support the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation with a portion of the proceeds from this concert.
