The Art School of Peterborough is a not-for-profit organization and has been operating for over 25 years. Serving the Peterborough City and County, it offers a variety of art classes for all ages.
The Art School of Peterborough is pleased to announce its 24th Annual Art Auction, to be held at Princess Garden’s spacious Atrium on April 25th, 2020. This innovative 8700 sq ft indoor park will host our Annual Auction: Flight of Fancy to raise funds to support the Art School Programming and ensure an all-inclusive environment for the community. Our fundraising efforts help to provide programming to enrich lives of individuals with financial restraints, provide art supplies for our youth programs, and ensure the quality of our instruction. Fundraising is absolutely necessary for the school to continue its programming for the community. The generous donations of local businesses are paramount to ensure the future of The Art School of Peterborough.
The Art School of Peterborough is proud to have local and nation wide artists supporting its cause in its live auction by Keith Monk. Live auction consists of artwork by: Leanne Baird, David Baker, Peter Barron, Anne Cavanagh, John Climenhage, Art Cunanan, Susan Donald, Michael Edwards, Jane Hall, Jose Miguel Hernandez Autorino, Karen Hjort-jensen, Dwayne James, Jenni Johnston, Charlene Kloos, Bill Lockington, Sandy MacFarlane, Lucy Manley, Lisa Martini-Dunk, Paul Nabuurs, Rob Niezen, Micky Renders, Peter Rotter, Susan Taylor-Stevenson, Sebastian Urquhart-Beligan, Jason Wilkins.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Silent Auction will begin at 6:30 pm with items consisting of artworks, local gift certificates, and misc. items. 4X4” mini canvases and 4”X 12” canvases have also been painted by local artists and will be on sale during the event for $20 each (4”x4”) and $40 each (4x”12”).
Experience an fun evening with MC Dan Duran, while enjoying uplifting art with pop up entertainment, and a live auction with original works from local artists.
Silent auction: 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Live auction: 8:00 - 10:00 pm with Keith Monk auctioneer
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments from local restaurants
