The 2015 Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival takes place Saturday, June 13th this year—and the deadline to register a team is fast approaching!

The deadline for team registration is April 14th.

This is the 15th annual Dragon Boat Festival in Peterborough—an incredible milestone of ensuring the best possible breast cancer diagnosis and treatment is available right here in our community.

12th Annual Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival June 9th

Peterborough will be hosting their 12th Annual Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday, June 9th. The event is a way of offering awareness and support, and serves as a fundraiser for the Breast Assessment Centre at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Practices have already started for the teams out on Little Lake who all get one 1 hour practice to get ready for the big day!

This Saturday (June 5th) will mark the 10th Anniversary of Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival, which takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Del Crary Park on Little Lake.

More than 100 community teams are participating in this year's event, which is a fundraiser for the PRHC's Breast Assessment Centre.

The following weekend, from June 11 to 13, breast cancer survivor teams from around the globe will be here participating in the International Dragon Boat Festival on Little Lake.

Peterborough's Survivors Abreast is hosting this worldwide event, which is meant to raise breast cancer awareness internationally and encourage participation from breast cancer survivors.

Make sure to come out and support these wonderful events. Fun to watch and a great cause!
