The inaugural “PTBOCanada Kids Pumpkin Decoration Contest” with Lansdowne Place was a great success with loads of entries from Peterborough and surrounding communities.

The following are the top three pumpkins for this year’s contest:

First place - Ocean Hurd, age 8
Second place - Aiden Rogers, age 11
Third place - River Gerolomy, age 3

The Art School of Peterborough is hosting a Pumpkin carving contest. Post a photo of your carved pumpkin (this year or prior) on The Art School of Peterborough's Facebook page, and every "Like" that it gets will be counted as a vote. Voting ends October 30th at 11 p.m. and the "Pumpkin King" will be announced on Hallowe'en Day.

The Rules:

All photos submitted must be carved by the person or family entering.
The pumpkin does not have to be created this year, it could be a photograph of last year’s pumpkin.
Allow your creativity to soar, there are no limits as to what mediums you wish to add to your pumpkin.
You can vote for more than one pumpkin on their Facebook page.
