New Giant Tiger Location Near Peterborough Slated To Open In June

Update: April 25th, 2014 - The Grand Opening has been moved up to May 10th.

Giant Tiger (currently at 2704 Lakefield Road) has a new location under construction (at 2657-2667 Lakefield Road) that will be much larger—18,557 square feet—and offer much more parking. The grand opening is Saturday, June 7th. The current location is next to the Selwyn Outreach Centre, and they will be moving across the street and up the road to this larger location.

Giant Tiger Moving To 18,557 Square Foot Retail Building On Lakefield Road

The Giant Tiger store on the road to Lakefield—near the Selwyn Outreach Centre—will be moving across the street to a larger location, the Lakefield Herald reports.

Current location

The construction of the 18,557 square foot retail building means there will also be some modifications to County Rd. 29 (Lakefield Road), as a southbound right turn lane and a northbound left turn lane will be required.
