Hidden Goodies to be Discovered At the East City Neighbourhood Yard Sale This Saturday

Hidden treasures could be found at the East City Neighbourhood Yard Sale this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Over 80 houses will be hosting a yard sale on their front lawns.

“Whether you're a seasoned collector, a bargain hunter or just looking for some good old-fashioned fun, there will be something for everyone,” said Ashley Bonner of East City PTBO. “From furniture to clothing, books, toys, tools and everything in between, you never know what gems you'll find.”

Houses in East City, ranging from Wallace Street to Lisburn Street and spanning Armour Road and Hunter Street, are in on the action.

“Grab your wallet, put on your comfy shoes and come explore East City's best bargains,” said Bonner. “Who knows, you might even find that perfect item you've been searching for.”

Over 60 Houses Participating in East City Neighbourhood Yard and Sidewalk Sale

The East City Neighbourhood Yard and Sidewalk Sale will take place on May 13 in Peterborough’s East City.

This neighbourhood event will have over 65 houses having yard sales from Parkhill Road to Maria Street and beyond, with some Hunter Street businesses having sidewalk sales. 

The yard sale runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. A complete map will be released a week before the event of the event’s social media platforms.

East City Holding Neighbourhood Yard Sale to Benefit Local School's Nutrition Program

Over 50 houses have registered in a neighbourhood yard sale where part of the proceeds benefit Kaawaate East City Public School’s nutrition program this Saturday.

The yard sale is located at residences in and around East City and Ashburnham Village with over 30 participating streets. It is run by the Facebook page East City Ptbo and runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kaawaate East City Public School is receiving 20 per cent of the proceeds from participating houses made from the yard sale.

Any vendors are encouraged to post yard sale signs and asked to take them down after by East City Ptbo.

There Is A Multi-Family Yard Sale Happening This Weekend In East City

This Saturday (August 20th), from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at least three families will be participating in a East City yard sale.

It takes place at 660 Ross Street, located near Nichol's Oval, and there will be housewares, clothing, books, small furniture, baby/kids goods, collectibles and so much more it's ridiculous.

The event happens rain or shine. Watch out Gilmour Street, this East City yard sale thing is catching on.
