This includes six NHL drafted players and one undrafted invitee.

Jon-Randall (J.R) Avon and Brian Zanetti were selected by the Philadelphia Flyers. Avon is attending the camp on an amateur tryout, while Zanetti was selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft.

Artem Guryev was selected in the fifth round by the San Jose Sharks. Petes defenceman Samuel Mayer is attending the Sharks’ camp on an amateur tryout.

Forward Connor Lockhart was picked in the sixth round by the Vancouver Canucks in last year’s draft.

Tucker Robertson was selected in the fourth round of the draft by the Seattle Kraken.

Peterborough native Chase Stillman signed an entry-level contract with the New Jersey Devils in August 2021 and is attending their training camp this year.

“I’m very excited for the players attending NHL camps, the experience that they bring back will be very valuable to the Petes,” says Michael Oke, Petes general manager.

The training camps started on Monday.
