Serena Ryder Had Market Hall Stomping Their Feet Tuesday Night

Serena Ryder had concert goers clapping their hands and stomping their feet at Market Hall on Tuesday night, at the Peterborough Musicfest Sponsor Appreciation event.

Hosted by Peterborough Musicfest, the night celebrated the return of the only summer-long free festival in Canada, as COVID restrictions ease.

The twice-weekly festival will return on July 1.

This summer will mark the 35th annual festival. Organizers reflected on the first ever Peterborough Musicfest concert hosted on July 1, 1987. Moe Koffman performed for a packed park.

Ryder played many of her classics like ‘Stompa’ and ‘What I Wouldn’t Do’ and ended the night by playing her new album ‘The Art of Falling Apart’. She says this was the first time playing many of these songs on stage after the album release in March 2021.

The last time Ryder played at Del Crary Park a record 12,000 fans packed the park.
