The Downtown Youth Space (DYS) is reopening on Jan. 10 with a number of activities and programs planned while welcoming all youths aged 13-18.

The free, drop-in youth group centre has afternoons for homework help, relaxation, therapy dog visits and sports from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Come in and meet the staff, some of which are former DYS participants and have been involved with the program for several years.

Located at 201 McDonnel St. at the PCVS building, DYS has a number of activities while providing a safe and fun environment to meet friends.

  • Free wi-fi

  • Pool table, foosball, air hockey, ping-pong

  • Special events, crafts, sports, board games

  • Open Gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays

  • Laptops and printers

  • Video games

  • Sitting areas and a fun space to make your own!
