Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development (PKED) has designed a specialized online hub of Small Business Week events in the area with local small business support organizations. This acts as a central hub for community partners to share all significant events for businesses in one place.
“We are excited to be celebrating Small Business Week in Peterborough & the Kawarthas with a curated online hub dedicated to the events being hosted by our community partners,” said Madeleine Hurrell, Business Advisory Centre Manager. “We know entrepreneurs are busy; they are hustling, wearing multiple hats, supporting the community, and looking after their own families. Businesses will have access to all events and business resources during Small Business Week and Month at their fingertips in one central location.”

Small Business Week in Peterborough & the Kawarthas is presented by BDC with events hosted by Team PTBO. They are hosting multiple events for small businesses in the region.

Business Fundamental Workshop Series, virtual lunchtime workshops presented in collaboration between the BAC, Community Futures Peterborough, and Innovation Cluster.
Oct. 12: Writing a Business Plan workshop, delivered by the BAC
Oct.19: Lending Landscape workshop, delivered by Community Futures Peterborough
