Two people have been arrested and charged with possession of stolen property on Monday.
The victim saw crystals for sale online. The incident occurred over the weekend when the victim’s vehicle was parked on an Arndon Avenue driveway.
Several messages between both parties to purchase the items. Arrangements were made in a parking lot in the area of Monaghan and Lansdowne Street.
Stolen items from the vehicle were a wallet with various ID and roughly $20. The suspects also possessed a suitcase that contained stolen various crystals and bracelets valued at $2,000.
On Monday just before 10 a.m., police located a male in a vehicle matching the description provided to the victim. Police approached the vehicle and observed a basket that contained various crystals and bracelets on the passenger seat.
The driver was arrested for possessing stolen property. Further police investigation determined the remaining stolen property was at a Chamberlain Street residence.
Later that day, police attended this residence and arrested a second person for possession of stolen property. The residence was secured pending a search warrant.
At 4:45 p.m., police searched the residence and seized crystals and bracelets were located.
