Peterborough Police Investigating Weekend Catalytic Converter Thefts

Peterborough Police are investigating 15 catalytic converter thefts worth $15,000 that were reported over the weekend.

The catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles at several businesses in the Rye Street area, Kingsway and Erskine Avenue area. In two instances, a white SUV with two people in it was spotted entering the parking lots of the businesses. 

The thefts likely happened sometime in the early morning hours on Sunday according to the Police.
