Peterborough Police Investigating a Man Robbed By Two People; Wallet and Phone Stolen

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating a robbery and seeking the suspect that occurred early Friday morning.

At roughly 1 a.m., general patrol officers were flagged down in the King Street and Stewart Street area about an alledged street-level robbery.  The victim had been walking on Hunter Street near Aylmer Street when he was approached by a woman asking for a cigarette. A man approached on a bike and allegedly brandished a knife at the victim.  The pair made off with the victim’s wallet and cell phone. 

The suspects were described to police as:

Suspect one:

  • Female

  • Long Blonde or Brown hair

  • Slim build

Suspect two:

  • Male, white

  • Mid 30’s

  • Goatee

  • Wearing a blue hat and a blue sweater
