Brampton Man Charged With Impaired Driving With a Suspended License

A 33-year-old Brampton man is facing charges after a single vehicle collision on Wednesday evening.

At roughly 8:30 p.m., officers were called to a single-vehicle rollover in the area of County Road 10 and Sharpe Line.

The driver approached officers, and during the conversation, officers noticed signs of impairment.

During the investigation, Police learned that the driver had a suspended license. EMS assessed him at the scene before being taken into custody. 

The man was arrested and charged with: 

  • Operation while impaired - alcohol

  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

  • Driving while under suspension (Highway Traffic Act)

The accused was issued an automatic 90-day license suspension.

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22.
