Bullock, a retired farmer, is an occasional lottery player who purchases tickets sporadically.

"I went to the store for ice cream and decided to pick up a Quick Pick ticket. I stopped in at the same store a week later and discovered my win," she said. "I had my granddaughter with me and the other customers in the store were congratulating me.”

Bullock says she called her husband right away to share the news, but he didn’t believe her.

"When he realized it was true, he was really excited,” she said. “When I received my cheque, my fingers were tingling. I’ve never won money like this before.”

She shays she plans to pay some bills and purchase a new washer and dryer. She is also considering purchasing a new trailer for their camp.

“I plan to make the most out of every penny of this win.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Mac's on Mathew Street in Marmora.
