27-Year-Old Woman Suffered Fatal Injuries From County Road 21 Single-Vehicle Collision

A 27-year-old woman has succumbed to fatal injuries following a single-vehicle collision in the Tapley ¼ Line and County Road 21 area reported by the Peterborough Police Service on Friday morning.

At roughly 8 a.m., officers received calls and arrived at the scene of the incident.  The City of Kawartha Lakes woman was pronounced dead at the scene according to a police report.

The road has been reopened after being closed for several hours while the Traffic Reconstruction Unit conducted an investigation. Peterborough Police continue to investigate the situation.

Police have not released any information about the identity of the victim during this time.
