It's Been A Month Since Peterborough Area Had An Active Case Of Covid-19

For those following the daily situation reports on Covid-19 issued by Peterborough Public Health, it has now been a month since the last active case was reported in the area.

”The last time we reported a positive case was June 20th using data pulled June 19th at 4 p.m.,” Brittany Cadence from Peterborough Public Health (PPH) tells us.

In total, there have been 95 confirmed cases during the pandemic in in the City and County of Peterborough, Hiawatha and Curve Lake First Nations.

PPH reminds the public to continue to be vigilant now in the early stages of Stage 3 and not to let your guard down.

“It is important to maintain physical distancing from anyone outside your household or social circle at all times,” PPH says.
