The Start-up Visa Program enables immigrant entrepreneurs to launch innovative companies by providing valuable assistance in navigating the Canadian business landscape. The Innovation Cluster Peterborough and the Kawarthas was recently certified to offer the program. One of only 31 business incubators in Canada, and the first in a rural area, Cluster President John Gillis says the program has the potential to attract some of the best and brightest minds from around the world who can build businesses in this area and create jobs.
