Check out these 5 great local businesses that started or expanded with help from the BAC...

1. Kawartha Combat

With the support of the Starter Company program—a Government of Ontario youth entrepreneurship program administered by the BAC—Kevin accessed funding to expand his operations and support to build a comprehensive business plan that will allow Kawartha Combat to continue to grow. Kawartha Combat offers martial arts programs, personal training, events and children’s camps.

2. Revive Hair Lounge

Kerry McMaster was ready to use her skills as a hair stylist to fuel her entrepreneurial dreams when she came across the B.L.A.S.T. Pilot Program being offered through the BAC. 3. BE Catering

Using the services offered at the BAC, BE Catering was able to craft a strong business plan which has helped them as they expand and helped them secure financing from Community Futures Peterborough.
