/For Cindy Gynane, working in real estate just feels right. Currently one of the top producers for Remax in the Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough area, her career started out far from the friendly confines of her Bridgenorth office near Peterborough.
Early on in her work career, she took her first job working in the lab at Johnson & Johnson as a lab/microbiology technician. After this, Cindy took interest in a customer service job where she worked at the Toronto Dominion Bank for two years. From there, Cindy worked for Bell Canada for more than 18 years in various capacities—honing her skills in the corporate world.

Ultimately, Cindy’s Real Estate career was the result of Bell's corporate decision to move jobs overseas. At the time nothing could have been worse for Cindy, but with the encouragement from her aunt who was herself a real estate broker, she acquired her license in real estate and has never looked back since then.

Having been born and raised in Keene overlooking Rice Lake—and living the past 35 years in the Smith Ennismore Lakefield area—Cindy has a great understanding of the different settlements and communities in the area.
With this extensive knowledge of Peterborough’s surroundings under her belt, she has come to focus on real estate in many of the smaller communities that surround us. Many of these happen to be waterfront—an area in which she excels!

Living in the Kawartha Lakes area has allowed Cindy the opportunity to learn the waterways from a boater’s point of view. This has given her valuable expertise in the water quality surrounding the properties she lists, as well as learning the road access to these properties.
Many of the properties can be significantly tricky to locate depending on the area and time of year, so having a better idea of the lay of the land has come in handy. Thanks to Cindy's extensive knowledge of the tri-lakes that surround the area she lives and raised her family on, waterfront listings have become her forte—though she does still have many residential listings as well in and around Peterborough.

One of the top producers for Remax in the Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough Area—her business tagline is "You'll flip for the Kawarthas!"—Cindy officially began her realtor business in 2007. Her hard work has allowed for her to successfully achieve the Hall of Fame Award and Platinum Award in a short amount of time.
Cindy also gives back to the community, donating a portion of every transaction to Children’s Miracle Network, the United Way, and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre for equipment coming soon!
