Riverview Park & Zoo Train Opens For Long Weekend

All aboard! The Riverview Park & Zoo's Manager and Curator Jim Maloney tells PTBOCanada the train is slated to open for the season this Saturday (May 21st). 

The train has been a hit at the zoo since first opening in the early 1970s. Here are some pictures of the construction and train from those early days...

In other zoo news, the Splash pad has also opened for the season! Rock it.
