Are you a business owner? An aspiring entrepreneur? Here are 5 great reasons you should check out the Start & Grow Fair Sunday, March 6th at Lansdowne Place:

1. You have a BIG idea…

Have you been waiting to get your new business or innovative product off the ground? Reach out and get some help from local experts at the Business Advisory Centre or if it is a high-tech idea through the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster.

2. Or even a small one…

Sometimes it’s not seismic shifts, but small ideas that make the difference. Take part in a professional development seminar by joining the Kawartha Manufacturers’ Association. Join in buzzing conversation with the folks at Startup Peterborough. Assess new market opportunities with assistance from Peterborough Economic Development.

3. You’re looking to find a connection…

Peterborough is a community filled with supportive business people willing to lend a hand to help others succeed. Chat with the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and the Millbrook & District Chamber of Commerce about networking opportunities and other benefits they offer to their members. Friends are important!

4. You need help navigating a change…

Sometimes entrepreneurship is born out of a moment where you find yourself on a new path. Peterborough is a supportive place to find yourself considering entrepreneurship in a time of transition. Wondering “what’s next?” after graduation? Find out more about Starter Company, FastStart Peterborough, Junior Achievement: Peterborough, Lakeland Muskoka and other support offered for youth.

The New Canadians Centre will also be there with information for newcomers considering starting or growing a business.

5. You need some support...

Whether you need help with financing, business planning or figuring out your commercial lease, there will be organizations on hand that can offer the services you need.

Regardless of who you are, what your business (or business idea) is or what questions you have, stop by the Start & Grow Fair to learn about how Peterborough Economic Development and the other business support organizations can help you succeed.
