Peterborough L.I.V.E. Music Festival May 2nd & 3rd

Over 50 up and coming acts take over Peterborough’s downtown venues in a weekend long music festival on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd. Called Peterborough L.I.V.E.—short for Local Independent Venues Event—this is a weekend long festival at over 10 venues including: The Venue, The Red Dog, the Dobro, The Spill, Sin City, the Black Horse Pub, The Garnet, Dr. J’s BBQ & Brews, Kettle Drums, Black Honey and Island Cream!

Styles range from rock, folk, metal, punk, hip hop, rap, jazz funk, R & B, country, bluegrass and classical, with each venue catering to a particular audience.

You can experience the entire festival for only $10 by purchasing an all access weekend pass from any of the performers or a variety of retail outlets. When you purchase your all-access pass directly from a performer, $8 of the $10 stays with the artist to support their music projects. (Musicians often give generously of their time to perform at fundraisers and community events, and this time they are the beneficiaries!)
