PTBOCanada Featured Post: OFAH Heritage Centre Is World-Class Meeting Space In Heart Of Kawarthas
/One of Peterborough’s best kept secrets is a world-class meeting space right here in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes region. Conveniently located off Highway 115, The OFAH | Mario Cortellucci Hunting & Fishing Heritage Centre is a brand new corporate destination. From retirement dinners and staff meetings to evening socials and team building opportunities, this multi-use facility is the perfect place to host your next event.
The dedicated staff at the Heritage Centre will work with your company to plan an event to suit your exact vision and needs. With ample free parking, a kitchenette, tables, chairs and coffee/ tea services, this unique space has all your basic meeting amenities… and so much more!
The state-of-the-art amphitheatre seats approximately 80 people, complete with a giant screen, surround-sound system, DVD and PC hook ups for the ultimate presentation experience.
The backdrop mural in the theatre is painted to make one feel as though they’re watching the sunset from the beautiful rocky shores of Georgian Bay. Break-out sessions can also be hosted in other meeting spaces throughout the facility including rooms like "The Cabin".
Sun Life Financial, Nefab Inc., Trent University, Robertson Bright Inc., and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are just a few examples of local entities who have utilized the OFAH Heritage Centre as a private function venue—and the list of corporate users is growing daily.
“Our guests are impressed by our stunning wildlife exhibits," Heritage Centre Coordinator Meribeth Burley says. "They create the perfect outdoor atmosphere… indoors. We provide a warm and inviting meeting place for all.”
Their onsite Excalibur Archery Range and Stoeger Airgun Range is a great place for some friendly colleague competition with all safety equipment and instruction provided. Or perhaps challenging your co-workers down at their catch-and-release fishing pond is more your style.
The Peterborough area is best known as the gateway to the Kawarthas. Let the OFAH Heritage Centre be your company’s retreat away from the office environment, no matter what the season!
