A brand new Butcher Shop is opening soon in town. Called Primal Cuts, it officially opens Friday, September 14th, and is built around a passion for delicious and ethical food.

The shop is a collaboration between a butcher, George Madill, and a Chef, Jamie Vrooman, who together strive to provide the best products available.

The shop carries locally sourced natural meats, dry aged beef, handmade in-house sausages and burgers, a full service deli, and ready to go sandwiches at lunch.

George and his wife Jacquie were born and raised in Peterborough but had been living in Toronto for the past 7 years where George has been honing his skills at some of the best meat shops there. But the couple decided it was time to come home to their hometown and are excited to start their own business here.
