20-year-old
Emma Purdie, who had a major impact on anyone that knew her, died tragically early Friday morning after a fall from the top of the Simcoe Street Parking Garage. Emma, a recent graduate of PCVS, was studying at Queen's University.
"She just had a true joie de vie," her mother
Barb tells The Examiner.
"She was just so full of life. And she just had the most incredible laugh. She was just so positive and upbeat, always a glass-is-half-full type person. We’re not coping. We’re devastated. She was just so full of life and now she’s gone. She had such an amazing future ahead of her and I think that’s the hardest thing. She was going places."
A moving tribute is growing for her at the spot where she died.
