Last Night There Was A Home Invasion In Peterborough

Robbery/ Home Invasion:

On the 18th of October at approximately 8:15 pm the victims, a 23 year old male and a 21 year old female, were in their Dalhousie Street residence when they heard a knock at the door. The male went to answer it and was confronted by a male with his face covered and armed with a toy handgun. He forced his way into the home and once inside he pushed the male victim, threatened him with a knife and demanded money. The female victim heard the commotion and came into the kitchen to investigate. She was also threatened by the knife wielding suspect. They turned over approximately $135.00 cash and the suspect left. The police were called and located the toy handgun and the knife in the area. The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 6’ tall, in his mid 20’s, skinny build, wearing a black toque, a black coat with a hood up over his head, black gloves with the fingers exposed, black pants and a black cloth covering his mouth and lower facial area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
