The tournament began on Thursday with the boys winning both games, 11-3 over Team Saskatchewan and 5-1 over British Colombia.

The boys took a tough loss in game three on Friday, losing 6-3 to Quebec #1.

They came back strong on Saturday morning and booked their ticket to semi-finals with an 18-1 win over Team PEI.

Noah Stanley pitched just shy of a no-hitter, with a full team effort to get them through the round robin.

The semi-finals pitted the team against the very strong Riverside team, but ultimately the boys came out on top with a 7-6 victory. This win sent them to the Gold medal game.

After a hard fought battle against Quebec #1, the boys fell 8-4 and returned home to Peterborough with a Silver medal.

“A tremendous group of players, coaches and families represented Peterborough, Waterloo, Hamilton and Whitby but most importantly Ontario with grit, determination and class,” said coach Noah Crowley.
