OK, so Peterborough's John Pirie won $10 million in the Lotto 6/49 last year. And, oh yeah, Peterborough's Michael Jennings won $100,000 playing Poker Lotto last year, too. And now more... in 2015. While the big lottery ticket worth $35 million was sold to someone in Toronto—who has yet to confirm their prize—two winning Encore tickets were also sold in the province last week, and one of those was in Peterborough. Naturally. Either Peterborogh people are buying a lot of lottery tickets or we just have good luck. Or somewhere in between.
