In partnership with the Council for Persons with Disabilities and the City of Peterborough Recreation services will be hosting the second “Inclusive Sport & Recreation Expo” on Saturday, March 4th at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre located (775 Brealey Drive).
This free event intends to bring together community sport and recreation organizations to highlight and promote inclusiveness and encourage participation for people of all abilities. It will provide children and their families an opportunity to learn more about the resources available and the inclusivity in sport and recreation through demonstrations and peer engagement. It will also be an opportunity for local groups to promote their organizations and showcase their inclusive programs to potential participants.
