Forest Bathing Walk

  • Fleming College 599 Brealey Drive Canada (map)

A 2-1/2 to 3 hour guided forest therapy walk at the Sutherland Campus to reawaken the senses and experience a deeper connection to yourself and the natural world around you. Also known as "forest bathing" or "Shinrin-Yoku", forest therapy is a practice that promotes a state of inner peace and relaxation through sensory restoration. It is a slow-paced and gentle practice that is physically undemanding and can be done by anyone, at any athletic level.

What to bring: Please bring some water and a blanket to sit on and dress for the weather. Please expect to be outside for 2.5 - 3 hours, so dress according to the weather and bring anything that you will need to be comfortable during our time together.

As per Fleming policy, proof of first COVID-19 vaccination and COVID-19 screening will be required by all participants. More details on this process will be emailed to you in advance of the event.
