Join us on Saturday, September 18 at the Peterborough Museum & Archives as we celebrate the opening of our newest exhibition, “The Ones We Met: Inuit Traditional Knowledge and the Franklin Expedition”. For more than a century, people all over the world wondered what happened to Sir John Franklin and his ships HMS Erebus and Terror. Over the years, pieces of evidence came to light: caches of supplies, a note left in a pile of stones and, most importantly, Inuit stories about the lost sailors.
Families and friends of all ages are welcome on-site as we host activities to immerse yourself in this exhibition experience.
