The Peterborough Public Library is inviting Peterborough youth, ages 6-12 years, to enter a Creative Writing Contest!

During April, youth can write on any topic they like and submit their piece through the Library’s website for a chance to win prizes.

Submissions can be true stories, made-up stories, or even poetry - April is National Poetry Month, after all. To support your child’s creative writing process, we’ve added three special author visits over Spring Break. Register for one of our free, virtual creative writing sessions with Lindsey Carmichael and Helaine Becker, or learn the art of comic book scripting with J. Torres, author of the Teen Titans series.

Our Upcoming Events section is brought to you by Patrick McAuley of Bowes & Cocks LTD Brokerage.
