The Fun Run and walk is a vital fundraiser for Riverview Park & Zoo. Last year, the the community raised more than $13,500 towards the expansion of the meerkat exhibit, and hosted more than 425 participants. This year, proceeds support the expansion of the indoor cat holding area, home to the servals and lynx. Help with our 2020 goal of raising $15,000 toward the $50,000 project.
Like many annual events, the Fun Run will be a bit different this year. Here’s how it will work:
Between September 20 and October 3, run or walk 1 k or 5 k in your own neighborhood or on local trails, with your family bubble and at your own pace. Report your time/distance and share a photo on our social media event page! Use the months ahead to train and get support. Top individual and team fundraisers will receive a prize from one of our local sponsors!
You can opt into to your 2020 Fun Run or Walk T-shirt or opt out and wear one from the any of the past 10 years!
Early-bird registration for the Fun Run and Walk will begin on July 29, 2020.
