Masked Artisans Market

Fair 1.jpeg

Following a prolonged closure brought about by COVID-19, Artisan Centre Peterborough (ACP) is celebrating its recent reopening with a public Masked Artisans Market featuring member artisans and guest paintings by Lakefield artist David Goyette’s exhibition.

On October 1st - 3rd between 11am and 5pm the Masked Artisans Market will present the quality craftsmanship of local woodturners, gourd artists, and fibre artists through demonstrations and a sale of finely crafted gifts. Products are available at both the Masked Artisans Market and online at https://www.artisanscentre.ca/Artisans-Market.

The Masked Artisans Market will be a fundraiser in support of the Artisans Centre Peterborough and their efforts to preserve and provide education in fine heritage skills.

The event will take place at the ACP centre located by the north door in the lower level of Peterborough Square. COVID-19 protocols will be in place.

Established in 2013 as a not-for profit organization, ACP serves to preserve heritage artisan skills by providing space, instructors and access to specialized artisan equipment and a gallery for its members and the community. ACP has been in its current location at Peterborough Square for one and a half years.
